Bead Round Winner and Top 15!

It's time to announce our Top 15 Contestants!

But first, thank you all so much for voting yesterday!  Your votes really did make a difference; there were less than 10 votes separating the first and second place projects.  We had a fantastic voter turnout, so thanks for letting your voice be heard.  I don't know about you, but I was blown away by all the talent on display...I would never even think to do some of those things with beads!  Many of the contestants plan to post tutorials of their projects on their own blogs {some have already done so}, which will be hyperlinked to the name of the project below, so if there's something you want to make, check back for a link.

One quick note about the voting {I know, you just want to see the results, but please keep reading}...I know some folks were confused because the "vote" link appeared above rather than below the thumbnail images.  I don't know why that happened, nor can I control that, it's an inlinkz.com thing.  Meanwhile, for future rounds, please read the directions in the post before voting; the location of the vote button was clearly spelled out to help avoid confusion.  Next week, inlinkz may look different {again, I can't control it}, but I'll be sure to specify what to do.  Vote at your own risk...lol.  Also, clicking on the link doesn't count as a vote; you actually have to click "vote."

Ok, enough business.  Here are the results..........

Our top vote recipient, and therefore the winner of the round and the shop credit to ArteBella Surplus is:

MELANIE from Artzy Creations

Here are the rest of the contestants {in order of votes received} that your votes alone selected to continue on in the competition:

PAMELA from PB&J Stories
{Entry S: Beaded Lantern}

ADRIANNE from Happy Hour Projects

ROBIN from Garage Sales R Us

{Entry R: Aqua Jewelry Set}

KELLY from Here Comes the Sun

{Entry A: Beaded Monogram}

That means the remaining six projects {in no particular order} received the lowest votes, and it was up to the judging panel to decide who to "save".
SUPER-JUDGES TO THE RESUCE!
You may have noticed, if you were counting, that we actually only had 19 entries this week, rather than 20; contestant Kelsey did not submit a project  for this round {and is therefore automatically out of the competition}.  Which means that rather than saving just one contestant this week, we got to save TWO!  It was a tough decision because all of our projects were so fantastic...we wish we could've kept everyone!
Here are the two projects that our panel chose to remain in the competition:

SARAH from Repeat Crafter Me
We loved these olives...so creative!  What were you thinking not voting for these? :)

CARMELLA from Creative Carmella
{Entry D: Crochet Wrap Jewelry}
We thought this was such a fun set for summer and several of us wanted it for ourselves.

Congratulations to our Top 15 Contestants!

Unfortunately, that means today we have to say goodbye to these fantastic crafters, whose projects we truly enjoyed.
...well, except for the one that wasn't submitted, lol.
 {in alphabetical order}:

GERI
{Entry L: Jewelry Holder}

KATHRYN from destination: craft
{Entry Q: Beaded & Embroidered Storage Jars}

KELSEY from Embracing Messy
No project submitted

Thanks again to all of our contestants for participating and contributing such wonderful projects for our first round!  Top 15, we can't wait to see what you'll make this week!  Check back at midnight EST to see what the new material will be.  And, of course, thanks to all of you for reading and voting.  Feel free to pin, share, and enjoy these projects; I know I have!

Happy Crafting!
