Top 10 Thursday!

Friends, this week I had the hardest time I've ever had choosing just ten projects to feature here today!!  Maybe it was because there were a whopping 318 links...maybe it was because you all outdid yourselves with creativity!  There were so many fabulous projects shared!  Here are just a few of the many I enjoyed...

Easter Chick Bunnies: Pint Sized Baker
How sweet and silly are these little guys?!

Stained Glass Rainbows: Mom on Timeout
So simple, so pretty!  LC and I are going to need to make one of these for St. Patty's day!

A certain someone I know is obsessed with Angry Birds...I can't show this to him until after I make him one!

Pizza Cookies: Desperate Craftwives
ADORable!  Blythe has outdone herself again, this time with these clever cookies for a pizza party!

I'm loving the yellow cowl Shannon made for the Crochet Along at One Dog Woof!  Shannon, I voted for you!  Honest, I did!

Shamrock Shake Copycat Recipe: That's What Che Said
I'm such a sucker for those Shamrock Shakes this time of year.  Sheer willpower is the only thing that keeps me from the drive-thru every day.  Check out this simple, tasty looking recipe for making your own at home!

I'm not usually a fan of french toast, but this recipe looks delicious!  I know hubby would love it, and I actually think I might too!

Top 10 Thursday!

Friends, I'm excited to show you ten of my favorite projects from this past week's Shine on Fridays party!  I really had a hard time narrowing it down this week...there were so many great ones it was tough to choose just ten to spotlight.  You'll notice I'm apparently feeling festive; most of the features are related to either St. Patrick's Day or Easter!

Shamrock Door Hanger: Amanda Jane Brown
I fell in love with this the second I saw it.  The next day, I bought foam board and made my own.  Unfortunately, mine isn't this cute.  Apparently Amanda needs to teach me to use an exacto knife...lol.

Lucky Mugs: Lemon Tree Dwelling
Another love-at-first-sight project!  I totally want to make these with Little Crafter, or perhaps come up with an Easter/Spring version.  Simply adorable.

Shamrock Cupcake Toppers: Bird on a Cake
Robin always makes the cutest tasty treats...these smiley shamrocks are no exception!

Mint Chocolate Fudge: Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom
I'm totally jealous of whoever took that bite for the photo.  Mint.  Fudge.  I'm such a sucker for that combo.

Hehe...how fun are these little guys?  Fun to eat, and you get to play with your food.

Amen!  He is Risen indeed!  The rustic simplicity of this sign is so gorgeous...I want!

I can't believe Nici was able to do this with plain old plastic eggs!  Beautiful!!

Garland Chick: Crafty Journal
*Giggle!*  This little guy just makes me smile every single time I look at the photo.  Gotta put that on the to-do list for Little Crafter.

DIY Rustic Wood Table Cover: Designed by Dawn Nicole
This gorgeousness speaks for itself, but if you want to be really impressed, click through to Dawn's post and see what the table looked like before the wood cover!  You won't believe the difference.

Seafood Gnocchi: Eye Heart
Mmm.  Seafood.  Creamy Sauce.  Gnocchi.  I'll be right over!

Mod Podged Mirror: Clever Nest
You really won't believe what that gorgeous blue and white pattern on this mirror redo actually is.  Go ahead, take a guess!  Then, click through and see what she used to get this beautiful effect.  You'll be surprised!

As Little Crafter is getting ready for Kindergarten, we've been working a lot on reading, sight words, and literacy.  Andie Jaye has compiled a dozen fun and educational activities just for the preschool age group that I think are fantastic...and I think you'll like them too.

Homemade Thin Mint Oreos: The Friend Collective
Major yumm-o alert!  These look too good to be true!  I wish the Girl Scouts would come to my door with a box of them!

Wax Paper Lantern: Artsy-Fartsy Mama
As soon as LC gets a peek at this fun kiddo craft, I know we're going to have to make one!

St. Patrick's Day Wreath: Create Craft Love
Jill always has a knack for festive door decor, and she's done it again with this fun wreath just in time for St. Patty's Day!

This fabulous makeover, especially the bird silhouette, caught my eye right away.  Isn't it gorgeous?  Click through to see the original piece...you'll be doubly impressed when you see how it started out.

Washer Flowers: Do Small Things With Love
What do you do with washers?  Well, if you're a girl and a crafter, you probably make necklaces.  But what about these adorable flowers?  Nice one, Nancy!

Birthday in a Box: Our Life in a Click
How do you celebrate a 19 year old's birthday when she's away at college?  How about this fun idea...a birthday in a box!  This post almost made me tear up as I thought about the fact that someday Little Crafter could be off at college and I wouldn't get to celebrate his special day with him. Then I remembered that his birthday is in the summer.  Whew. :)

Well, friends, that's all the features we have time for today...hope you enjoyed them; I sure did!  See you back here at 9PM EST for a brand new Shine on Fridays!  Show us what ya got!

Hey, hey, it's Thursday!  {Finally!}  I am so ready for the weekend, how about you?  Before we get this weekend's party started, let's take a look at ten of my favorite projects and recipes linked up at the last Shine on Fridays!  You'll notice an edible, chocolatey theme...I was hungry when I picked the features; what can I say? Enjoy!

Football Party Food & Fun: Mom on Timeout
This one caught my eye right away since I'm all about football right now...did I mention my Ravens are going to the SUPER BOWL?!  Yep, that's right, I'm yelling about it!  WOOOOOOHOOOO!  Anyway, Mom on Timeout has a great post here with some yummy football treats and cute game day decorations.

Chocolate Shortbread Cookies: Pint Sized Baker
Be sure to stop by and check out this post, not just for the amazing looking recipe, but for the sweet tribute to the author's grandmother.  You'll be glad you did.

Easy Felt iPhone Case: Do Small Things with Love
I just thought this was adorable!  So adorable, in fact, that I made one for myself last night!

In case you're wondering {aren't you?}, here's how mine turned out.  Of course it had to be purple {Ravens!!}, and apparently I either have a larger phone or cut smaller hearts, but here it is!  Thanks for the inspiration, Nancy!  By the way, this took all of about ten minutes to make and I already had all the materials.  Yay!

Sweetie Pies: Phaedra's Adventures
Five words for you:  Personal pies in a jar.  That's right.  Run, don't walk.

Valentine Bead Canvas: Bear Rabbit Bear Crafts
How adorable and fun are these bead canvases Melanie's daughter made?  I see this in LC's future!

Conversation Heart Charm Bracelet: Happy Hour Projects
Look at this adorable personalized charm bracelet!  Adrianne made the hearts from polymer clay and stamps!  Aah...too cute!

Fudgy Footballs: Hoopla Palooza
And we're back to football and chocolate.  Fudge.  Marshmallows.  Candy melt.  For the win!

Starbucks Bottle Burlap Vases: Pots, Pans, and Paintbrushes
I clicked on this one because I saw the word Starbucks.  And boy am I glad I did!  Look at these sweet and simple upcycled bottle vases...loving it.  Too bad you can't do that with the paper cups...

Mosiac Heart Box: ArtClubBlog
This bright and festive heart box is so eye catching and fun for Valentine's Day, don't you think?

Cheater's Chocolate Coconut Cream Pie: Silver Boxes
