It's time! Time to make a difference. Time to find a cure.
Here's how you and I can play a part together.
You know I love to make jewelry. And so, I decided to make a very special, one-of-a-kind piece to represent Breast Cancer Awareness. To honor survivors, remember those who fought the battle, and remind us all that there is hope. Hope for a cure. Hope for a brighter tomorrow.
Here is the "Hope" Pendant.
So, how does this work? Basically, we're going to hold a silent auction.
If you are interested in owning this piece, you simply leave a comment with a bid for how much you are willing to pay. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
In addition, I promise to match the winner's donation. The auction will be open until Sunday, October 23 at midnight EST. On 10/24, I will announce and contact the person who placed the highest bid. You may bid multiple times. Bidding must increase in at least $1 increments. That's all there is to it.
You bid whatever you're willing to pay, knowing that it all goes to support the fight against breast cancer.
You check back and increase your bid if you want.
Then, if you are the highest bidder, you get this pendant and you and I both get to donate to a worthy cause.
It may not be a normal giveaway, but I say we're all going to be winners.
I'm also excited to announce that several other fabulous crafty bloggers I know have agreed to participate in this ungiveaway and are offering items for bid on their blogs. You can check them out here:
pink pouch
Healing Basket, including her favorite movie, lotion, a kitchen spatula, and a wine glass!
pink Hope Scarf
pink teddy bear {so this little guy will be in a pretty pink!}
Rose Bracelet
Inspirational Art Print

{PS: Suzanne's hubby Kevin is battling stage 4 kidney cancer, so say a prayer for him!}
I am starting the bidding at $5, but I will be back!
